I read a little bit of everything from children’s books to mysteries to nonfiction. I like stories with well written characters and plots that move. I’m not a fan of books that get overly bogged down with descriptions (e.g. everything every character ate or wore) or that have so many characters that it’s impossible to keep them straight. I will DNF a book if I’m just not enjoying it - life’s too short.

What would you do if you went home for Christmas and found that the man you’re sure murdered your sister had just moved down the street? Well if you’re an assassin like Marin you plot revenge.
This is a short story so everything happens pretty quickly but I enjoyed it much more than I expected. If you like an offbeat main character and dark humor then I’d recommend this.
