Prince George, confluence of the north, draws in anything....

When Adrienne's mother left her and her family when she was a child, she worked for many years to be able to follow her and find out why she left and never came home. Now a young woman, Adrienne moves to Prince George to learn the fate of her missing parent, knowing that the whole story could well end in tragedy, but demanding knowledge anyway.

Simon Brody, still scarred from his own childhood, moves north, outwardly to attend school, but also following a call in his heart that he cannot deny. When he meets Adrienne, he quickly realizes that some things are not so easy to ignore or lay to rest.

From the bowels of downtown to the heights of University Hill, two students strive to seek the truth of a city that holds its secrets close. Immortals stalk the streets, spirits haunt street corners, and angels fall into the rivers. When singing can be heard from the forest, will two mortal youth have the strength to resist its all too familiar call?
