Since having a grown child and I'm not employed, I have much more time to read than I used to. Before having my son I read all the time. I'm remembering the passion I had reading now that I'm back to it. Since December 2024 I've read around 25 books. My goal this year is to read at least 50. My favorite genres are horror and thrillers. I love a little mystery also and have read biographies.

First Halloween advent book I've seen. It was a great read and hard to stick to the chapter a day. It's got a little supernatural element mixed in it. A little about the book, without giving too much away is that children go missing on Halloween. We follow a family trying to find their missing child. Interesting things happen. Great read!

I read this as a chapter a day. Once I finished a chapter I didn’t find myself wanting to read on to the next. I like the variety of ghosts but i thought some should have had different actions and reactions. As for romance, I wouldn’t call what they had as romantic. They had attraction but nothing romantic about it.
