This book had my daughter and I screaming at the characters. This story follows Grace, a real estate agent whose boss likes to give her a hard time and co-workers always poking fun at her. Grace's injured boyfriend lives with her and she is the sole provider, living in her deceased parents house.

Her boss makes her to go what is called coaching. I think this would be equivalent to getting counseling here in the US. Her coach/counselor, Oliver, is a bit different.

As the story continues, all of these crazy things start happening to Grace, including being regarded as a person-of-interest in the mysterious death of her boss.

This story was such a twisted roller-coaster. And that ending? Fantastic!

I give this 3.5 stars. I really did like this storyline. I realize this is a short story, but I feel there could have been a little more. It had pulled me in but the ending was just rushed and dropped, in my opinion. I honestly feel this could be made into a full-length book, and I would be right there to read it. I would love to read more about the girls and everything that led to them being there. I just feel the story sucks you in and then just leaves you hanging.

The way this begins, puts you right into a scene that leaves you saying wtf. As the story continues, and the scenes change, it becomes clear what is going on. But how you expect it to end is NOT the ending you get. As it is a short story, it is a quick read, but don't let the size fool ya. This one has some thought-provoking moments, as well as some anxiety-filled moments at the beginning and end. Definitely recommend.
