An exceptionally engaging and fast-paced sequel to Danielle Fear's 'Hushed Tones,' part of the Deadly Silence short story collection.

I was eager to read the next installment in Kirsty's story, where she finds herself trapped, imprisoned in a room beneath the vineyard by Tom.

Daniel's whise fiancé Hannah died in a fire at the vineyard, now rebuilt, doesn't believe it was an accident, and wants to know the truth .

He pays a visit to speak to Tom for answers, and not finding what he wanted to hear, returned to snoop around where Hannah's life ended, he spots a bolted door and makes a disturbing and sinister discovery.

As the truths come to light and his questions are addressed, Daniel faces seemingly impossible choices, torn between his grief, justice, and revenge, while Tom observes and waits.

I thoroughly enjoyed this intriguing suspense thriller that kept me on edge, with its twists.

Danielle's creative writing style consistently captivates and maintains suspense in her thrillers.

I love and recommend her books very highly.

What an excellent short story and thriller What Secrets The Walls Keep is by Rachel Graham. Richard is excited at finally buying and moving in to his new apartment, it's all his. He arrives opens the front door to a foul stench that catches his breath, he opens all the windows to the fresh air. He draws out his plans for renovations. On the first he investigates strange scratching sounds coming out the walls, is it mice or rats? After a couple of nights he discovers a a cat none of the bedrooms, how did it get in and where did it come from? This is an amazing mystery thriller by Rachel. A fantastic read.
