“I love, love, love the descriptions in this book. It makes the story feel so immersive like you're actually there. It plays on all senses that you have and is just done wonderfully. And Corvu, please, my newest book boyfriend. I'm just a sucker for this kind of set up and I can definitely see this series becoming one that I can reread. While I have a few chapters left, I know this is a five star for me and there is nothing in the world that could change that. It has mystery, paranormal, romance, and the fantasy element that I find so intriguing! You're going to pick this book up and not want to put it down!”

“I wasn't too sure of this book at first. As I read the book and the further I got into it, I came to love it very much! The writing is amazing as always. I never read Serena Knight books until I read Beast and fell in love with it. Now I'm in love with The Tricksters Deception and can't wait to see what happens next. If you want something different to read this is the book to read. There are going to be some character you going hated one minute then the next you love them with any book. I can't tell you how may time I hated Corvu only to love him the next minute, but then there is always some character that is like that. I really hope you give this book a try you won't be disappointed!”

“Looking for a slow burn fantasy where there is magic, danger, adventure, and misdirection, then you hit the jackpot. You have questions along the way, fear of losing and trusting those that come along for the ride. It gives a sense of longing and gratitude as well as family and friend. For those that know the feeling of wanting to belong but never seem to fit in anywhere, there is always a place for you just sometimes it's in the most unlikely places. This book allows you travel, learning, finding of yourself and belonging. The world and character build is perfect for this book. The book allows you to follow, admire, and fall in love with the characters. Sometimes not realizing that no matter the situation that it's not always what it seems to be. I think it's great for light fantasy readers as well as YA that enjoy a great adventure with a little love mixed in. ”

“I recently read *The Trickster’s Deception* by Serena Knights and… not to be dramatic, but this book pulled me OUT of my reading slump ... POV: you haven’t been able to focus on a single book and then suddenly: this one just clicks. The story follows a human who gets TELEPORTED into a magical world (yes, instantly hooked), and from the start it’s such an easy, fun ride. The plot is creative but super accessible, so you can just relax and enjoy the adventure without overthinking anything! And the characters?? So likeable. Not overly complex, just the kind you immediately connect with. It felt really refreshing to read something where I didn’t have to “work” to get into it: I could just vibe with the story. The writing style is smooth, engaging, and honestly addictive. I kept turning pages without even realizing it, which says a lot because I’d been struggling to stay focused on reading lately. This book genuinely brought that joy back for me. This is definitely more of a lighter, feel-good fantasy and that’s exactly why it works so well. Not every book needs to be heavy. Sometimes you just want something magical, comforting, and FUN 💫 If you’re looking for: ✨ magical world escapism ✨ accidental teleportation trope ✨ likeable, easy-to-follow characters ✨ cozy, feel-good fantasy vibes ✨ a true reading slump cure this is your sign to pick it up 🫶 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) easy, fun, and exactly what I needed at the right time. ”

“I really enjoyed this story a lot. I loved how Tia was pulled into this world that’s nothing like her own. But instead of shying away, she acclimates and moves forward. I absolutely loved this world. The different characters. Trolls, witches, tricksters and more. I found it to be very intriguing. This story really pulled me in and kept me captivated throughout. I loved the venture and the twists and turns. It was such an amazing story. Nothing like I’ve ever read. I laughed and my heart hurt a little. But this was just such a good read. I can’t wait to read more about Tia. ❤️”
