A short story packed with so much suspense that has you questioning everything! I liked the multi povs throughout the book as I feel it added to the suspense in the storyline. What's happens when someone takes the chance to bring justice where the system failed.

Very short chapters that arises questions throughout the storyline and wonder what really happened in the woods. Where in the dark the silence was born and grew into something they couldn't deny anymore. I did not see the twist at all. I do wish it had a little more explanation as to how they got the way they became.

Fast paced short story read that leaves you asking questions of what truly is going on! When trauma meets utter silence what will happen to the main character and is she truly experiencing what's happening? Or is it all part of her healing journey. Great read that kept me reading till I finished and I hope there's more to come from the story.
