It was a story that you’ll follow ‘til the end, in order to find out the truth behind everything. You’d be asking yourself what was really happening. And that twist at the end, oddly satisfying! There was a part of me that hates Gwen and Dianne, and part of me that pities Roy. But at the end of the day, both ladies deserve the palm of hand. One high five for Gwen, and a slap on the face for Dianne. 😂

As the first legal thriller that I have ever read, it did not disappoint me. It was a short story but there was a lot of substance. I liked that it was written in a multi-POV way which gives more feelings to the story. It was nice how it ran the opposite of how you want it to be but you’ll still get the feeling of satisfaction in the end. One thing that really sets it apart is how it portrays the reality of the sense of justice anywhere in the world - both in the legal system and in the society. This is how bitter the truth of life is. This is how sad it is sometimes. Kudos, Danielle! This is another well-written and unforgettable piece of literary work.

Tick tock. That is all that I would ever manage to say. You won’t see me, but I see you. I see everything.
That is how the narrator in this short story feels as it was written in the third person POV. It’s a little weird but empowering on how the women in the family shared the love of getting rid of the “dirt” in this world. I loved how their different styles in “cleaning up” was shown in those few short chapters and how the men in their lives supported them for it. A little late to promote this but THIS SHORT STORY is the kind of Women’s Month empowering entry that I wanted.
