I loved X, it was another thrill ride in this second book in the Phoenix series. Phoenix and Curt have settled in to life with their daughter Rose, living in a cottage on Phoenix's Pop Pop's property. Then the unthinkable happens, Rose has been kidnapped. Phoenix, Curt and Pop Pop will not stop until they get Rose back safe. X deals with child trafficking and pedophiles. However, it isn't graphic at all, it is insinuated. I can't wait to read the third book in the series!

Kayla and her sister Cristy are out Christmas shopping and decide to stop for lunch. What happened next had Kayla and Cristy running for their lives. There has been a flu epidemic and it turns worse when people start dying and become rage filled zombies. Kayla and Cristy need to learn how to survive these zombies or become zombie food. I loved Stay Silent! The ending, oh my goodness!

Alexis awakes to find her mother's room splattered with gore and her mother missing. Her father comes to take her to his home. Things quickly escalate as more people are being murdered, with a nursery rhyme note left behind. All meant to taunt Alexis. Where The Ladybugs Go To Die is a nonstop thriller, full of secrets and lies, leaving Alexis not knowing who she can trust.
