This book had me hooked from the very first page! Frieda McFadden is a master at crafting fast-paced psychological thrillers, and The Crash was no exception. The tension was constant, and I found myself flying through the chapters, desperate to uncover the truth. The twists kept me second-guessing everything, and just when I thought I had it figured out, McFadden threw in another surprise.
One of the things I loved most about this book was the character development. The story plays heavily on the idea that people aren’t always what they seem, and McFadden does a great job of making the reader question every interaction. The unreliable narrator aspect added another layer of suspense, making it impossible to know who to trust.
I gave The Crash 4 stars —it was a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat experience that kept me engaged from start to finish. If you love psychological thrillers with jaw-dropping twists, this one is definitely worth picking up!

First Time Caller by BK Borison gave me total Sleepless in Seattle vibes, and I was OBSESSED. The banter between Aiden and Lucie? Top tier. The kind of witty, flirty back-and-forth that keeps you grinning like an idiot while you read.
But what really made this book stand out was Lucie. I LOVE a strong, independent female lead, and she was exactly that—a single mom, working on cars, holding her own, and proving that romance heroines don’t always have to be fragile or in need of saving. Plus, the way her daughter was involved in the story added so much heart.
This book had me actually laughing out loud in some parts and wanting to jump through the pages in others. It was the perfect mix of swoony, funny, and heartfelt, and I could not put it down.
If you love small-town romance, amazing banter, and strong heroines, First Time Caller needs to be on your TBR ASAP!
Abby Jimenez has officially solidified herself as my newest AUTO-BUY author, and The Fall Risk is just another reason why. As much as I wished this book was longer (because I never wanted it to end), I absolutely ATE IT UP.
The story was not what I expected—but somehow, it was everything I wanted. I instantly fell in love with the characters, the depth of their emotions, and the way Abby weaves humor, heart, and romance so effortlessly. She just gets it every time.
If you haven’t picked this one up yet, consider this your sign. 10/10 recommend.
