Notes are being taped to bathroom stalls across the country. 'On a date that isn't going well? Ask for Andrea at the bar, and we'll make sure you get home safely.' The girl who inspired these notes hadn't made it home safely. Disappearing without a trace at seventeen meant she was labelled by the police as a runaway. The case eventually went cold, but her determined mother, Sabina, wasn't prepared to give up that easily. Inspired by true events, 'Forget You Saw Her' is pulse-pounding, heartbreaking, and fear-inducing; the words in this story will linger long after the final page. What a stunning prequel to 'Ask for Andrea.' I highly recommend both!

Thirty years after the near-extinction of mankind, groups of survivors live in small numbers behind fortified walls. These homes are called forts, and armed guards keep a lookout from on high, protecting their small civilisation from the nocturnal infected and roaming gangs of bandits that threaten their existence.
Only the runners leave the protection of the forts. Kara is fast; she's never settled for a life behind walls and chooses to do supply runs between the forts on foot. She longs for life on the road when she and her family used to drive around as guns for hire in a large armoured vehicle called a rover, before her father and brothers settled for fort life.
When an SOS is sent out from her lover's fort, she will stop at nothing to save her friends. Her journey is perilous, and my heart was in my mouth on many occasions as she encountered marauders and the infected within the city's crumbling buildings.
As she narrowly escapes many near-death encounters, could a fanatical cult of survivors be her salvation and offer her a new way of life, or is there more to the mindlessly infected than she could ever have imagined?
I didn't just read this book; I lived it! Kara is a force to be reckoned with. This book is so well-written that it's an experience. I could vividly imagine every scene!
For lovers of apocalyptic stories, fans of The Walking Dead or The World Abides, you will devour this amazing book. Five stars just don't seem enough. I loved it!

Gripping, original, and suspense-filled.
Absolutely gripping, original, and suspense-filled from start to finish. This is expert-level storytelling. Lena is a young lady living in a mental health facility. Voices taunt her from within.
Everyone seems to know what's best for her, but she longs for some semblance of normality. Surely she can have that if she can just leave this facility? Get away from these doctors and nurses. Do they know best? Should Lena tell them what they want to hear? Will they even listen?
A religious group makes contact, claiming that her apparent psychosis is a divine gift. They want to help her. Can Lena trust them? Can she trust her own mind to cut through the voices to guide her to the right decisions?
This is a storyline like no other that keeps you guessing until the very end. You think you know which way it's going, but do you? A definite, unquestionable 5⭐'s. I loved it!
